I don't make it a habit to start threads but this argument by Desmond Howard a Big10 Alum/player is nuts and shows the kind of bias that the committee may have opened themselves up to. Last year TCU was moved out of the top 4 rankings even though they didn't lose again and were impressive, maybe more than any other team. They just looked unbeatable.
Notre Dame got voted into the 4 spot this year as everybody knows. On College game day Howard explained that Notre Dame cannot move out of the top 4 if they beat Stanford even if an undefeated Big12 team is right below them. Why?
Because nobody on the committee is going to move ND down because basically once ND was named in the top 4 they cannot be moved out for any reason other than losing, AGAIN! Even over an undefeated Big12 team. Nuther words the discussion is over.
