i was looking over this kids numbers and he was just stellar on the way to winning the high school title and good numbers in college as well.
I think it’s interesting some have a bad view based on how he did in his FIRST start @ UT which had a bear of a defense. UT people were actually pretty impressed with him.
He made some mistakes but also moved the ball well and even scored. He has since bulked up and has a lot of time in the system. Not crazy about him being a lefty but it’s ok.
Especially given we are going to run the ball and he is mobile as well I am excited to see him as the starter.
Jett has a lot of talent but Carter actually had the better scrimmage yesterday and isn’t an idiot. With more reps he could be a good player for us. There are many good Tech qbs that didn’t have elite arm talent.
