I am looking to make a job transition to Colorado(Denver). I found this "placement agency" that isn't a recruiter/headhunter. I only spoke with a lady today for about 5 minutes but have a follow up call next week. Basically, what I think the gist of it is that they offer to build a "profile" or "brand" for you and are able, due to their relationships in the marketplace, to offer warm introductions on job openings before they hit the recruiter/headhunter/job board market. And for that, they charge you a fee.
I've always gone the job board/ headhunter route. Anybody ever used a service like this or know anybody who has?
