Long story short - a perk for partners at my previous firm was they paid for my vehicle - it had to be a lease in my name, and they just stroked a check to cover it every month. Fast forward 2 years and I leave the firm, now I'm paying the lease and I'm 14 payments away from being done.

Here's the issue - I'm allotted 1250 miles/month and I've been driving about 1,500/month for the first two years. I'm on pace to go over my miles by about 10k, which is a $2,500 penalty.

So my question - do I double up on 6 payments and get out of the lease early to avoid the mileage penalty? Do I just sit tight and pay the $2,500 at the end? Do I see if Sewell has any buyback programs going on? What options am I not considering?

What do yall think?
