Spoke with 2 different people today….1 is a D1 bball HC and the other has been involved in the DFW AAU scene for 20 yrs. BOTH couldn’t stop talking about how great of a hire Buffington was.
In fact, the DI HC said that this hire was “the best hire made in the country this offseason. Buff knows everyone, is respected by everyone and is as connecting to high end HS recruiting as anyone in the last decade”.
So there ya go.
