Summary Baylor: Briles didn’t turn around the dumpster fire, which was Baylor Football, until Yr #4. Bennett has given them continuity and it’s now paying off for them on the defensive side of the ball. Their defense now has athletes.
Summary Tech: Tuberville left the program disarray. Give Kliff another year. With the contract, he is here for a while whether you like it or not. Granted, I can’t stand some of the undisciplined things we do. Our offense looks promising moving forward. We return some good kids & the WR group will be the best we’ve had in quiet sometime. Thomas, Vasher, Willies will be great additions assuming we keep Willies. We will miss Clark, Washington, & Grant.
Defensively, can it get worse? KLIFF NEEDS TO GIVE FULL REIGN TO GIBBS & develop continuity on that side of the ball. Sorry if it hurts his buddies’ feelings. Allen, Fehoko, Johnson, Hinton, Mitchell, Bethel, Hill, & Pipkins will be an improvement from this year’s defense. Give Klifford another year before completely giving up on him & this program.
