Got back home last night from a bachelor party weekend in Breckenridge. I really enjoyed the town but man, spending a few days up in that altitude really kicks your ass.
I learned I’m a terrible skier, which wasn’t a surprise considering I hadn’t skied in 20 years. Could they make those ski boots any more uncomfortable??
Breckenridge Brewery was a great place to get dinner/drinks. We did a tour of the Breckenridge Distillery which was awesome and well worth it. Mi Casa and Salt Creek Steakhouse were fine but nothing special.
We watched the Super Bowl at Downstairs at Eric’s which was cool/good food but obviously the game sucked.
The Tbar at Peak 8 turns into like a nightclub at 2 pm. Lights off, smoke machine, DJ, etc. Good times if you’re into that stuff.
And if you’ve read this far expect some good football recruiting news for Tech in the next 24-48 hours.
