Just got done watching the MSU-Vandy Game and that may have been the wildest 9th inning I've ever seen. With MSU winning that brings an end to the first day of Supers with the following teams all winning
#3 Washington (over CFSU)
#2 Miss St (over Vandy)
#1 UNC (over Stetson)
#1 Oregon St (over Minn)
79% of the Teams that win Game 1 advance to Omaha. That tells us that at least 3 of these teams should be advancing. So who will advance?
OSU and UNC are locks IMHO. These are 2 of the Top 3 Teams left and I would be shocked if one of them wasn't playing in the Finals. They will also face each other in their first game in Omaha.
MSU, they were ugly at times, but this team won't die. 90% chance they wind up in Omaha. I would start watching every game they play because it will surely be exciting.
Washington - if one of today's winners don't make it to Omaha I think it will be Wash. I really thought the Titans would win today - they were playing at home and were 8-0 all-time to Wash. But CSFU just couldn't get it going. If someone is going to comeback I think it's #3 CSFU over #3 Wash. That being said I think there is a 60% chance Wash punches it's ticket to Omaha, which would be interesting because I don't think 2 teams from the NW have ever made it to Omaha in the same year.
Feel free to rip my predictions apart or give your own predictions, but after 13 hours of baseball today I'm ready to do it all over again tomorrow.
