I just finished an old book I had on the shelf. I think this is the 3rd time I have read it. Conquistador by Buddy Levy. The story of Cortes and Montezuma. I have several books on the conquest but this one is a fast read and I promise will keep you turning the pages. For those who do not know the story or only remember it vaguely from jr high or HS. it is a page turner. I think this story is one of the most astounding in all history as it was not only a clash of cultures but between complex and evolved ones who had no idea the other even existed. This story truly is the birth of modern history.
