He seems to have a handle on the whole situation. In 2015 he wrote a paper and gave a speech saying we need to quit putting all of our money into the defense department and worrying about fighting a world war against other countries. We need to start preparing for a world wide pandemic. He said this shutting down different states and different counties individually won't work and will result in the Corona-virus rising again after going down somewhat. Gates also said he is preparing his family and the whole country needs to prepare to shelter in place for up to late May to early June to get the virus under control.
In addition, a psychiatrist on the same show said in order to keep from getting depressed about this situation, focus on only things you can control.
I was going to delete this post after seeing a much more detailed account was already written on the giant Corona-virus post, but the delete option has seemed to have disappeared. However, I thought the fact that Gates predicted this scenario in 2015 and more importantly the basic statement from the psychiatrist is something we all need to keep utmost in our minds.
