I believed -- and still believe -- that Baylor is going to have at least two tough years based on the 2016 and 2017 recruiting classes being gutted.
But they are going to win 9 or 10 games this year. They are going to clean house and hire one of these promising coaches that have been mentioned in other threads that Tech is not in position to hire and Baylor is going to go about rebuilding. Obviously, NCAA or Big 12 will do nothing.
Meanwhile, Tech remains paralyzed, stuck in limbo from contract extension hell for at least two more seasons after this. Recruiting will likely continue to be meh or worse as other schools use the Dead Coach Walking against Tech.
It's hard to believe a school and program that enabled rape, turned their back on victims, had numerous assaults from women to animals amidst one of the worst scandals in modern college history has a better road to recovery than Tech.
