I need some recommendations on software/apps/router/etc to limit screen time for our 12 year old. He’s the 12 yo middle kid and plays travel soccer but outside of soccer and school he stays cooped up in his room except to eat. It’s getting to the point that his attitude is terrible and he’s talking back to mostly my wife during every conversation. We’ve taken electronics away but as soon as he gets them back he’s back to hiding in his room.
We’ve had an Orbi in the past and it was great for limiting screen time across all devices (iPad and Xbox for him) but the overall WiFi performance in our house was terrible. Ideally we would like something like this that can limit the cumulative time on the devices for all of our kids. Any recommendations?
