I watched old Bernie on the Fox townhall last night and was thoroughly unimpressed. The combination of Brett Baier and Martha McCallum did a mediocre job of trying to keep Bernie between the guardrails. Not surprisingly Bernie did lots of filibustering and shaming of FoxNews. His response to the point that many if not most studies have shown that cost projections for free healthcare and college were unaffordable was simply that such studies were funded by opposition research and that was that. Many of the claims/numbers he threw out seemed totally unbelievable but he got zero pushback from the moderators. Loved the fact that Bernie wants to mandate the amount the rest of us must give while he is pretty damned stingy with what he voluntarily gives. Typical liberal/socialist.
