Just a couple thoughts from a complete emotional mess of a man.

-On a night when you did not have anything bounce your way, this group of men found a way to get a W. How many times have we said that over the last few years?

-Gibbs called a hell of a game. The much-maligned group answered the call again and again. Put in bad positions several times, they made stops.

-The series of the game was our defensive unit forcing a 3 and out after TCU converted on a fake punt.

-There were so many moments in this game that I, personally, thought we would fold. We had every opportunity to. We had every chance to roll over and get blown out. But this team did not give up. I'm proud of that win guys.

-Kliff leaned on the run game today. He realized they were gonna leave a 5 man box and make Pat throw into small windows. I was impressed with Ward's ability to get a yard when needed.

-Pat took some sacks that he should not have. It's the same thing we see every week. Throw it away, live for another down. But part of what makes him the QB we love is his ability to make magic from absolutely nothing. Listen. I don't like the sacks in the moment. But Ben Seymore will take those sacks all day when he makes the plays he does by escaping.

-How about that Offensive line? Murphy goes down, and they just keep fighting. Just keep battling as a unit. We haven't seen this much shuffle across the front in years. They struggle at times, but we put a bandaid on a neckwound and keep on plugging.

I will repeat my opening statement of this post. On a night when you leave the field feeling just awful about they way you played, you take home a win.
