Matt and I went to see Eastland play vs Gunter last night. It was a total mismatch as Gunter was bigger, faster and stronger on both sides of the ball.
Could still see Behren’s potential though, showed a strong arm and good mobility out of the pocket. He’s definitely more “dual threat” than a pocket passer and will be able to pull the ball down and keep it on those zone reads if the defense isn’t honest.
He’s set to sign on Dec 16 and enroll early. Will be big to have him on campus in time for spring ball.
