As you know, Texas Tech hosted Marcus Watson, Jahmius Ramsey, Victor Iwuakor (official visits) and Texas Tech commit Kevin McCullar (unofficial visit).
I’ll update this thread as soon as I hear back from these highly sought after recruits. So far, I briefly heard from Victor Iwuakor:
“My visit was good! I liked the school and the coaches!”
Regarding commitment dates:
“I really don’t have any date that I will be announcing. It’s kind of, whatever happens happens!”

How was your official visit to Texas Tech?
“The visit was great, better than I expected. It really shocked me on what the program has to offer. Great staff support in and around the program. The intentions that Coach Beard has are amazing, it just really opened my eyes about the program.”
The facilities are amazing, top-notch. Everything from the arena, the weight room, the stuff they have inside the facilities, the technology, the nutritionist, just the support they have from the alumni. It just makes the whole thing run in one big circle, and it’s just nice.”
Could you see yourself attending and playing for Texas Tech?
“I think I could. It’s a great school, great opportunity, and a great situation. Me and Coach Beard talked a lot, me and Coach Burg talked a lot, it really got my ear -- really got me listening to them. I could see myself putting on a Texas Tech uniform, but I just don’t know yet.”
Texas Tech in-home visit directly after his official visit:
“Coach Burg came out to my house for an in home visit (yesterday). My brother couldn’t make the visit in Lubbock over the weekend, so Coach Burg explained to me and him about everything Texas Tech does. It was a good visit.”

Kevin McCullar on his visit:
"I enjoyed the visit, I always have a good time in Lubbock! I enjoyed more time with the team and staff on this unofficial visit. I tried to share as much information as I could with the other visitors. Victor Iwuakor and I are great friends, we used to play together. All of the visitors had a great time, and it's good to have top recruits visiting Texas Tech.
I am super excited to get up to Lubbock in December and get to work!"
