Texas Tech averaged 14,252 per home game in the Big 12 this year. That doesn’t include Kentucky or any of those sellouts to start the season.
14,252 is 94.4% capacity, which, I would guess, is a solid third place (EDIT: posters below find it’s actually SECOND place) in the conference. Watching a .500 team, in and out (mostly out) of the top 25. If you don’t plan your arena for AT LEAST that type of season, if not better, you’ve got a loser’s mentality aiming to be below average.
