The lone change in the top eight was the removal of Oregon State and the inclusion of Texas Tech. The Beavers still have a pathway back to the top eight, but they’ll need to take care of business and have some help elsewhere. OSU is still tied atop the league standings with Stanford, but the RPI is down to 21 with just a 3-6 mark vs. RPI Top 25 clubs. Texas Tech, which took the Beavers place, is one of the hottest teams in college baseball and is surging near the top of the Big 12 standings. The Red Raiders are up to 9 in the RPI with a 15-6 mark vs. RPI Top 50 and a 4-3 mark vs. RPI Top 25. Tech also played an outstanding non-conference schedule.
