I've got an opinion on the Baker situation that's not gonna be popular. He was probably Kliffs biggest mistake as a head coach IMO. Maybe he was just way too much of a shithead for Kliff to hang on to him, but let's think about what could have happened if Kliff had gone all-in on keeping him. He was obviously a better QB than Webb and would have started all 4 years unless injured. He would have done really well in our offense as he gained experience and would have just graduated. Pat likely would have red-shirted and would now be taking over the reigns from Baker with 2 years to play 2. I can't stand the guy, but if we had kept him, we would be in much better position at QB than we are. Now I'm gonna go take a shower after typing this.
