Just wanted to drop a post, I was there when Ŧ willed themselves to history over a very good Houston team - I was sick and confused when they ejected Toppin and watch McCasland give the refs an earful and then some. I was sick - I knew we could still win, but doubt and disbelief were hard to overcome. I started Raider power chants throughout the game. I’d say at least 500 Red Raiders in 106 and 107 joined in, not to mention the hundreds of others spread throughout the arena.
I took my son for his first sporting event of this scale. He is 5 and has no idea what he witnessed but he left wishing he had a Texas Tech jersey and wanted to do it again. Very proud to be a red Raider and wish I could bottle this feeling up and inject it into my veins.
These guys fought so hard, it’s much more physical then when you watch it on tv. If you don’t attend games, you should.
