One thing that scarred me about the Hogs was how their style of play would mess with our offense. Shortening the game and limiting drives is tough, because even if you score on your chances it never gives you a real shot to put more than about 2 scores between you and the other team, or (on the other side) if you get behind by more than one score it gets really hard to catch up.
Clearly, we handled that in this one very well, failing to only score on one normal offensive possession. Still, I think if we played a lot of those games it would give us some issues from time to time. The good news is in the hardest games left on the schedule, most of the teams we play from here on out basically wants to put up as many points as we do. Texas, Iowa State, KSU, and Kansas aren't necessarily that, but they also don't want to shrink the game either. They are more middle of the road-types where we should get plenty of chances.
I think it is going to be a wild season, but we survived arguably the toughest matchup for us on paper.
