My first one was due to HS football I injury in 1970 that was shredded (words Dr used) ACL, MCL, PCL & torn cartilage that was jammed in my joint so knee was locked. Later after multiple surgeries I got staph in it that almost cost me my life or leg. It didnt but really ruined my knee completely.
Had it replaced about 15-16 yrs ago. They only last so long. The pain is really getting very intense. In addition, recent tests show the deterioration in my neck & spine has so worsened I need more surgery there. I'm fighting nausea & dizziness constantly due to fusions & spurs so worsening.
If you know anyone or had personal experience on a second knee replacement. I dont & never got full movement back originally. Its very limited now.
Question is this. Did the second replacement & esp after going through that hard rehab again. Was it worth it in reduced pain. I'm just not sure it would be worth it.
