Taking an RV trip up to Wisconsin for two weeks in mid to late July that will see us camping for about 6 days in the Devil’s Lake State Park and Wisconsin Dells area. I believe we’ll head over to Madison one day as well. Looking for any recommendations for things to do & places for food & drinks in this area. We’ll have our kayaks and fishing gear. Interested in some hiking as well. Our girls 6 & 4 will be along w/ us, so hikes can’t be too extreme. I’ve heard there are several indoor & outdoor waterparks in the Dells area, so I’m sure we’ll do that with the kids one day. The wife has done all the planning so far. She always does good on trips like this but you travelers of RRS always seem to have the best advice.
After that we’ll be headed over to the Hudson area to meet up with some Texas friends that now live up there. Likely spend a day in The Twin Cities (Minnesota) area. I believe our friends have a few things planned but if there are any must sees, let me know. Wouldn’t mind going to a nice craft beer/microbrewery up that way if anyone has a recommendation.
