I graduated with a degree in Energy Commerce back in 2017 and have spent the last 5 years working in the O&G industry. Not necessarily looking to change industries, but I’ve always thought the Architecture route was a perfect pairing of analytical skills and the creative design part of my brain.
I enjoy my job and have the inroads to a very successful career path, but I want to take the time to consider where my passion lies. I don’t want to end up 50 years old wishing I’d done something more fulfilling with my career
I fully understand I’d have to go back to school in some capacity, but curious whether there are any architects on the board who can give me a little insight into the profession. Pros and cons, whether starting down that path at just under 30 is viable, etc.
