I read something the other day which made me laugh, largely because it was ATM, but the more I thought about it, there could be some amount of truth to it. We all know how unhappy ATM was to have the SEC throw out the biggest red carpet welcome ever to UT, with even having some meetings in Dallas or Arlington so that the folks in Austin are not too bothered, but I can see ATM calling the and offering their services to the Big 10. It would give the Big 10 a school and lots of viewership in Texas, as I feel these two conferences will do anything to gain an upper advantage on the other. The SEC, having already seen the good and bad with ATM, doesn't really make a play for them to stay in the SEC as they would feel they would be easily replaced. Do I think that the SEC would invite Tech?, I do not but the movement of schools is not going away.
