a revamped coaching staff in their 2nd year and:
2020 - 42nd ranked class
2019 - 61st ranked class
2018 - 74th ranked class
2017 - 47th ranked class
2016 - 44th ranked class (TJ Vasher, Zach Adams, Brayden Stringer, Nick McCann, Noah Jones, DaMarcus Fields)
Avg - 54th but there are 3 classes in the 40s.
I do think that some have sold on Alan Bowman too quickly, and while we can all anticipate a good QB competition between Bowman, McIvor and Smith, don't be surprised if Alan Bowman emerges as the starter in 2020. He is a somewhat proven commodity (16th all-time at Tech in passing yards) and has performed better against P5 than some here give him credit for.

He dominated G5 and FCS competition as a starting FR and SO should.
He played on par against P5 competition as any QB on the roster of the last two seasons.
McIvor or Smith may beat him out but if not I believe we will be in very capable hands (as long as he is healthy) in Bowman's 3rd season and Yost's 2nd.
