I think I would have felt better about the press conference had KH said, “We will get back to being above average.” The next time we are elite in football will be the first time. Hell, we haven’t even reached elite level in basketball yet. We had a good year, but need to sustain that success in order to be elite. Most predicted 7-5 or 8-4 on this football season. If we had achieved that above average record, we would not be refreshing RRS every minute of the day to find that coach to take us to a land we’ve never sniffed.
