Beard thinks he can build a dynasty at Texas, but he considers this year an audition to get a 10 year $8 million per year type contract. That's why he's being a cutthroat with his roster. Don't be surprised if they end up with RJ Hampton. They are going all in. They think the NCAA is too busy with the schools under the microscope, Arizona, Kansas, etc to worry about Texas Tech and Under Armour. By the time they would draw any scrutiny, Beard will be gone.
