At no time has there been a more fragile buildup to the start of the season that two days ago looked like could be dead by now. At no time has the chance to halt the season or even get to the season seemed greater, or excitement tempered by 25% capacity and a very limited fan experience.
But we are in one of three P5 conferences that has chosen to dip their toes in the swimming pool and move forward, not cower in the corner under a cloud of worst-case scenarios, but at least try in good faith and best effort to have a football season. If they're in, until further notice, so am I.
