One of the biggest issues we have is ignorance of the public. Educating our fellow Texans to what is occurring by a group of slimy bastards is essential. Even some of my fellow Red Raiders really don't hardly know anything about the situation.
Exposure is the only redemption for the university system.
We could in short order do these things:
1. Get official records for the Vet and Dental school plans
2. Articulate the needs for graduates of these schools
3. Demonstrate the economic benefits
4. The social benefits
5. Expose the PEOPLE at play here
6. Expose their "legal" kickbacks
7. Expose the dirty side of politics
8. Begin a campaign by having people become motivated to boycott some of our BOR businesses
9. Letters to the state Lege on behalf of TTUS
10. More
With a crowdfunded opportunity, we could get video interviews with those in the know (Fuller, Amarillo business leaders, Hance, the 4 non-douche bag BOR, etc)
Videos of Steinmetz and Francis, Perry, Sharp, and others denying interviews..
We use the money to launch a statewide ad spend on Google, FB, LinkedIn, target correct demographics, get our Tech Alumni base engaged, and have mixed video and still ads driving to the content which exposes this bullshit.
The page will have an auto letter drafter allowing anyone to send letters to their representatives as well as separate loaded email to send to the douches, and aggys.
I know of a few companies that could help us get the logistics of a website, the ads, etc done, I think to get a real statewide campaign done it'll run around $75k, BUT we drive the viability of the campaign by one click donations to keep the campaign going until the Vet school is approved. Any overages will be donated to TTUS.
Is this feasible for this board to create this campaign @PrevostRaider @LondonRedRaider can we get this put together to get the right people to tell the story?
