Hard to believe that tomorrow is the 80th anniversary of the storming of the beaches at Normandy. May we also not forget that this is the 80th anniversary of paratroopers parachuting into to France in the wee morning hours of June 6th in advances of the beach landings. There are not many of these veterans left of the greatest generation. Makes you want to watch Saving Private Ryan and Band of Brothers.
