I walked in to Monomyth a bit ago and there were two tall guys in line. I’m 6’2” so when I say tall, then yes. Sure enough, I met Elliot and Lucas, 2 of 5 friends that are former players of Dave Smart at Carleton in Ottawa. They love their guy Dave and couldn’t say enough about his basketball bona fides. They’re here to support him and see the sights. They were impressed with our facilities and people. They felt that the team is a work in progress and agreed that no one really knows yet what we will become. Super nice guys all probably about 30-35. They asked about the Rawls. I told them about Fore Golf and Evie Mae’s. They are staying for football and tailgating, so, if you see a roving pack of really tall guys, you know what to do. Oh and since I’m 64 and long since out of the game, where would I recommend for them to meet some of Lubbock's finest talent tonight or Saturday?
