Just talked to Mike while he's still in New York and here is what he's saying right now about everything and the frenzy or "hornets nest" as he termed it that he might be coming home to.
"I leave for three to four days, nothing happens and there is an issue. All I did was go to an annual event and I come home to all this," Leach said.
"I can't referee the deal so who knows, I just know my heart and soul has been at Texas Tech for the last seven years and we're going to practice hard tomorrow and that's it."
Leach declined to comment about any further talks with Miami officials.
