Here's my positive spin on the defense with the 3rd quarter statistics below. The defensive coaches under Gibbs are very good at making half time adjustments and getting some errors corrected. This is a big improvement over prior years that leads me to believe we have a DC that has the ability to lead his staff.
I'm excited to see what Gibbs can do with another 2-3 years under his belt and some time to develop his scheme with some exciting recruits coming our way. Consistency of staff - biggest off season need for this defense.
