The coaching staff has some spots to play with and they're still looking to bolster the roster heading into the summer and fall camp. I've exchanged messages with all three of these prospects and wanted to introduce them to y'all. All three are full qualifiers.
Allen is a 6'4" wideout from Northeast Oklahoma A&M. Coach Filani is going to see Allen run routes today and if he likes what he sees is a very possible offer. I'm not sure what other schools are involved but Allen tells me "most likely I'll get it (the offer) and I'm going to report this summer to come in and make an impact".
Allen, who played HS ball at Pelham High School in Georgia, redshirted as a true freshman at NEO and looks to have 4 years of eligibility remaining.
Riley is a big (6'3", 200 lbs) safety from Kilgore JC. Immediately eligible. Tech has offered and he's coming in for an official visit next weekend. He also has an offer from UMass and told me he's speaking with the Iowa State coaches later today and that they could be offering too. He's visited and receiving interest from Baylor.
Looks like Riley redshirted at Independence CC in 2018, and has 4 years of eligibility left.
Another player from Kilgore, Eldridge also has an offer from Tech and is immediately eligible. He is also coming in for an official visit next weekend. Has another offer from UNT and is receiving interest from Baylor and Illinois. Originally from Denton Ryan, he played as a true freshman at Kilgore and has 4 years to play 3 remaining.
