I think I realized last night that I can't stand what Kittley does on 1st down.
It just seemed both this season and last, that we are in 2nd and long situations all the time.
I was impressed with what Oregon did on offense last night. Sure, they have play makers everywhere, but they did a really good job of taking what our defense was giving them, particularly on first down. Nix never forced anything and their short passing game was on point. They were generally always in a 2nd and short or medium all night.
Our short passing game is like a ghost. Not the TEs did show up last night so that's a positive development.
Oh.....and run the damn ball.
