For anyone interested, my all time favorite book 12 Mighty Orphans is currently being filmed in Fort Worth and should be finished around Thanksgiving. The book was written by Jim Dent (an unbelievable story himself) and is a true story about the Masonic Home Orphanage in Fort Worth following the depression years and how their coach invented the spread offense to use with this undersized, under equipped football team. The Mighty Mites became a national story as they fought their way through the Texas high school championships for several years. The movie is starring Luke Wilson, Martin Sheen, and Robert Duvall (an all time great). I can't wait until it makes the theaters.
