Season begins February 6th in Clearwater, Florida with games against Top 25 Duke, Nebraska plus Mississippi State and others. Then they follow that with weekend tournmanets with Texas and Texas A&M as well as a non-con home invitational that includes Indiana in Lubbock. Likely one of, if not the toughest non-con schedules in the country will look to help a brand new team (only three returners) and staff learn to take a punch and gel before they open conference play at home versus Top 5 and preseason Big 12 favorite Oklahoma State at home in March.
