Texas Tech stayed the course, kept the pressure on and busted the pipes to beat Utah 2-0 in their Big 12 Home Opener. For a team that got goals from two sophomores, they showed what head coach Tom Stone noted as "a maturity" we were missing early in the year when they were still working through lineup changes due to injury (pre-season all-big 12 players Sam Courtwright and Kylie Bahr) and just the huge seniors that graduated last year as well. Have appreciated watching this team grow. Up next is a tough test with their next three Big 12 games on the road, first up being #14 Oklahoma State Sunday.
