That’s what Cal RB grad transfer Tre Watson told me today about his visit out to Tech this weekend. He’s busy trying to get home today, so I’ll get him tomorrow for a full recap.
But I did ask him why it was the best trip of his life. His thoughts:
“The culture there was amazing. Being around a place where football is just as important to the players and coaches as it is the fans was something I didn’t experience on such a high level anywhere I’ve been. Everyone showed so much love there. I truly appreciate Lubbock.”
I’d say that’s a ringing endorsement.
