Since
@A. Dickens has let us down I made my own 10 Bold Predictions. I figure since his hit rate was barely .500 how hard can it be.
For the second year in a row neither ut or ou will be in the B12 Championship game. Last year broke a 15 year streak of either ut or ou being in the big 12 championship game marking only the 3rd time in 19 years that one of them were not in the championship game.
Tyler slough will start every game for Tech this year. Not since Patrick Mahomes 2016 campaign has a game one QB starter started every game. In the past 10 years (or decade of suck) we have only had 3 seasons the same QB started each game. (Seth 2012 & Mahomes 2015,2016)
Tech will snap its 6-game losing streak to K-State. Tech will win for the first time in Manhattan since 2008 snapping Tech’s 6 game losing streak against K-State.
For the first time since 1998 OU will loose to both ut and osu in the same season. While Ou fans are happy to say bye to TBOW, they will struggle this trying to find their footing under 1st year head coach Venables.
A end of season loss to LSU loss will keep atm from playing in the SEC Championship game. Atm will be in the drivers seat for the SEC championship game but will lose a close game to LSU keeping them out of the title game.
This season uh will play 3 future B12 opponents and only win one game. UH will play both KU and TTU in nonconference and appear in the AAC Championship game against Cincy.
Tech will finish the year with a top 25 Recruiting class. While this may not seem that bold since Tech currently has the 18th ranked class consider in the past 20 years Tech has only had 2 top 25 classes (2006-25 & 2011-20) and in the past 10 years only last years class (39) no class has been in the top 40 with two classes being 74 (‘18) & 82(’21).
TCU will have back to back loosing seasons for the first time since 96-97. First year coach Sonny Dykes will have a rough adjustment to the B12and will suffer multiple double digit losses
Kansas will not finish at the bottom of the B12 this year. Since 2009 Kansas has had the worst record every year with the exception of ISU’s 2014 season.
Tech will only lose one game by more than 2 possessions. With the exception of one game Tech will be within 2 scores of victory in every loss this year.
