Being Wrong Never Felt So Good

As @Sandstorm43 called me out in another thread, my Tech -1.8 so load up on WVU was way off. It feels good to lose that one (even though I’m close to 70% for the year all in.

I went back and looked and this is all because of Behren Morton. The kid can move the offense.

Before BM, our offense had an EPA of .203 and in the two games with him an EPA of .289. If I had just counted the OSU game, I would have loaded up in Tech but you can’t use a one game sample. This is where I need to tweak my EMA for college.

So for Baylor, if we take into account the BM effect and if they’re QB is healthy, I have us as -2.8 favorites so I’m probably staying away unless the line moves hits my 1 point differential.

For shits and giggles, if you start maybe DS, i have us as 4 point underdogs…

Prevost Call Out Thread

I know we all love @PrevostRaider but you have to call out bullshit when you see it.

Last week I walked by Prevost's typical tailgate location WITH MY CHILDREN and was appalled to see a NAKED bus. What the **** man?? My children were excited to see the famous double T bus and were instead confronted with an embarrassment. Be better.

Possible Lawsuit

My wife and I moved into our house in Fort Worth about a year ago. When we bought the house we knew the chimney needed work before we could safely use it. I had several people come out to look at it and give me quotes and it was not helpful at all, it ranged from a small issue to one chimney sweep saying I needed a whole new chimney…

I found a chimney sweep company online that had good ratings and I had them come out to take a look at the chimney. They said I needed a metal liner to make it safe and I hired them to install that along with some smaller issues. After they finished the work I got suspicious because I couldn’t get them to come back out to do the final check like they said they would. So I gave up on them coming back out.

My wife is pregnant and I wanted to really make sure that the chimney was safe so I had another company come out and take one last look. Turns out the previous company didn’t do anything to the chimney and just took my money. I am now having trouble getting in contact with them to get my money back. Does anyone have any suggestions of what to do at this point? Any advice is helpful!

TLDR: got scammed by a chimney company. Thinking about threatening a lawsuit.

Who the Fook...New Neighbor Thread

New neighbor came in and built is obligatory metal building because no house in our community is complete without one.

I'm giving him the benefit of the doubt that maybe he still has plans but here is the issue. He put a 5M lumen light on this new barn facing the street. That light is brighter than the sun. There is no shroud, timer or motion on this light. It burns all night long. Our adjacent neighbor is directly across the street from this house. His front yard/house is lit up like it's gameday. I cannot imagine he is happy. This light goes beyond the property, lights up multiple rooms in the houses that face the street (including ours), and probably 5-10 acres of land behind us. I can see in my living room and kitchen without turning on a light.

I'm looking forward the "the talk".
