I was sitting back and thinking recently about the rhetoric of both of our political parties. It got me to thinking. When did such a great switch occur? Back in the days of a George W Bush, you could have never conceived of the current environment.

The Republicans are isolationist, anti-war hippies that don't trust medicine or food or federal law enforcement or hardly anything else, and the democrats are big Pharma/FBI apologist war hawks that are have been fine risking world war 3 over Ukraine. Not to state there is anything wrong with supporting Ukraine, just that the days of “better red than dead” are certainly long gone for the democrat party, as well as the days of “dissent is the truest form of patriotism.” As are the days of Reaganism republicans loving Russian provocation.

When did such a switch occur? Was it under Obama? Was it under Trump?
