So being exiled down here in Houston, I don't get to enjoy Blue Sky's onion rings and chili sticks very often. I gave homemade a try for the first time tonight and they were really good, but I'm definitely missing some stuff they put in the batter. Went simple with buttermilk, flour, salt & pepper, cayenne, and paprika. Solid, but like I said could be improved.
Anyone have any idea what all is in theirs? Anyone have a killer recipe for batter for stuff like this?
