anyway - i think our best strategy for the basketball team is to lure away a successful coach from a “football school” (i.e. - doesn’t give two shits about basketball). we have tremendous facilities, play the NIL game, and have recent national success, play in the best conference in america by a large margin. i think a big splash hire is completely within our reach here - not someone like grant mccasland
he’s got a&m looking very good, obviously was successful at marquette and virginia tech, and is a high energy guy. no skeletons that I’m aware of, and wouldn’t be a retread. a&m will *never* give a shit about basketball, so i don’t think it will be all that hard to pull him away
