Long post warning
Just considering our journey this year week to week, heck day to day changes with Qb / defensive injuries, it’s not always telling with common opponents. Comparing horn and our schedule does it matter when trying to figure how good they are or how far back we are?
Wyoming - We: bad road loss in OT 33-35; on the road none the less in Mars and we didn’t handle
horn: 31-10; had them at home tied 10-10 to start 4th qtr - find it very odd with full health they don’t blow their doors off
Baylor - We: at their house - one of our most complete games and Morton not healthy 39-14 and we kneeled it in their redzone
horn: at Baylor similar domination 38-6 - i.e. Baylor sucks
Kansas - We: toughest road win by far 16-13
horn: best victory for them this season - tore them up at home 40-14
Kansas State We: Ugh…Jessie ran all over us - Strong was not 21-38
horn: started backup and started trend of not finishing teams off - won at end for a tough OT victory 33-30
Houston - We: seems like 2 years ago, 49-28, lots of youngins on D, lots of Tahj and screens
horn: lost Ewers late enough to not be this close at Houston 31-24
BYU - We: fumbled 14-27 in the mountains
horn: dominant as they are Baylor 35-6

They seem to be having the one score wins we had last year that we didn’t have this year. We played a few away that they had at home.

It’s closer than at first look. Bob lefty Sturm on The Ticket says it won’t be close. Crazy things between us two institutions happen on Friday nights of thanksgiving. Their defensive front is scary good - Ewers is still not healthy and they lost Rb and wr -

If Tahj gets 100 we win.
