Did anyone on here know that William Spears who the school is named after was from Lubbock. His family had Spears Furniture in Lubbock. He moved to Wichita Falls to run the store there and got on the school board and learned how much schools paid for energy- Air Conditioning, Lighting etc. He founded an energy consulting business for schools and got wealthy doing it. He ran the business from Wichita Falls for a time and then moved to Dallas. My cousin in Wichita Falls knew him.
