As an older I can remember when most large companies let everyone off on Good Friday. I think it started getting phased out in the 90's and by the 2000's very few got off for Good Friday. The markets are closed today but most people are at work. Traffic is pretty normal. Schools are open. When did schools stop having Good Friday. as a Holiday? Being an older I always had Good Friday as a Holiday when I was going to school. I think that probably lasted through the 90's or so.
