Looking to make a fairly last minute trip to a beach. The goal is to literally sit in a chair, umbrella, have a drink and occasionally take a dip in the Gulf. If a round of golf is involved—great, but not a deal breaker. I was thinking Destin, Gulf Shores, or Orange Beach initially, but I have never been to Port A or Corpus. A few questions:
1. Does either one of those places (Port A or Corpus) have something like that?
2. Are the beaches good? (How do they compare to Galveston or South Padre? Not a fan of those two.)
3. Not looking for a party place, but a good beach where we can chill, have a good time, and unwind.
My wife thinks you guys are the MENSA of sports knowledge, and she has high hopes the collective genius on RRS will come thru yet again.
