Got laid off this summer, and expecting a very solid offer soon that’ll move the fam (spouse, toddler and 2 dogs) to the Bay Area.
I’ve literally never even been to California, so any (non political) advice is appreciated on areas to live.
Job will be in San Mateo, so looking there or close by bay cities as well as commuting from San Francisco. We really want to be somewhere walkable, ideally. And in office is only 3 days a week, so don’t mind a longer commute.
